Eligibility	18+. Original TV pilots only (no features): one-hour drama or sci-fi/fantasy 45–65 pages; half-hour comedy 22–45 pages single-camera or 52–58 pages multi-camera (double-spaced). English; clean cover page (judged anonymously). In the 5 years before the final deadline you must not have earned more than $25,000 in total from film/TV writing. Open to international TV writers.
Prize / benefit	Grand Prize TV Fellowship (about $9,000 in cash and prizes): $3,000 cash, free retreat tuition and housing, a 12-month mentorship with 2 industry mentors and supplemental mentorship from Script Pipeline. Division winners get a retreat discount and one-on-one mentor sessions
Notes	Earlybird (Aug 9), regular (Sep 20) and late (Oct 25) deadlines have passed; extended late Nov 24, final Dec 14, 2026 (official TV submissions page; Submittable). Quarterfinalists Feb 2027, semifinalists/invitees Mar, finalists late Mar, TV Fellowship winner mid-Apr 2027. Semifinalists, finalists and winners are invited to the TV Retreat (Apr 23–27, 2027, Idyllwild, California) for a fee. Winners only are notified; entrants don't receive individual written comments.
